This year edition Volkswagen Bucharest HALF MARATHON announced for September 5-6th, was rescheduled for May 8-9th,2021
Bucharest RUNNING CLUB announces that, after analyzing the current situation and evaluating all scenarios, together with the partners and decision-makers involved in the organization process, this year’s edition of Volkswagen Bucharest HALF MARATHON will not take place on September 5-6, 2020. We consider that, in the special conditions of the period we are going through, the street running events, which involve the participation of a large number of participants, even in the situation of compliance with all health safety rules, involve risks that may exceed the control capacity of any organizer.
All registrations made so far remain valid; the runners will automatically transfer for the edition of May 8-9, 2021. If the new date is incompatible with personal plans of some of the runners already registered, please contact us by e-mail at info@abrc.ro, until December 31, 2020.
These are challenging times for both event organizers and those running and participating in sports competitions is a way of life. That is why, dear runners, please continue to train, to stay healthy and fit, until we meet again. Thank you for the time and patience you have given us, and we look forward to seeing you at the start, with the same enthusiasm that we all miss so much!
